This program complements the basic qualifications that have already been offered by TÜV Rheinland since November 2010 as part of the photovoltaics expert courses. The aim of this three-level advanced course is to be able to repair and maintain systems reliably, with the main focus lying on fault recognition and analysis. Operating special measuring devices, evaluating and analyzing performance data, installing system remote monitoring and system reporting are also important parts of the training.
TÜV Rheinland has been checking solar components for their technical reliability since 1995. During this time, TÜV Rheinland established an expert network with over 200 professionals worldwide; around 500 module manufacturers have since become its customers.
